The Ministry of Health(MOH) provides this service to private health facilities that currently have paper-based digital licenses and want to convert them to digital format.
The processing time is 10 days, and the service is free of charge.
Prerequisites:
A valid license number.
A health facility has to be seeking to cease its operations.
Follow these simple steps to request a digital operating license.
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the “Health” category, select the health facility licensing.
Select “Request for Digital Operating License” from the drop-down menu.
Click Apply.
Enter the user’s health facility details including the company TIN, company name, UPI, bed capacity, and address.
Enter the service details including the health facility category, full-time and part-time services.
Fill in the Managing Director Details (identification, email, and phone number).
Add the Clinical service diretor details including their identification information, contact information, years of experience and practicing license number.
Click on the Add Staff button.
Note: Once you click Add Staff, a new tab will open where you will enter various staff details, including identification information, contact details, and other requested information.
Upload the required documents in the right format, then click Next.
Verify that the information is accurate; enter the user’s phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
An application number will be generated (B2……..) so the user can follow up on their application status.
After the application has been successfully submitted and approved, the applicant receives an SMS or email notifying them that the certificate is available and that they can download it from the IremboGov platform.
