This service helps survivors of the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994 in need to be able to register and obtain a MINUBUMWE beneficiary identification number. The service is provided by the Ministry of National Unity & Civic Engagement - MINUBUMWE.
The processing time is 5 days, and the service is free of charge.
Prerequisites:
Applicants should have a valid phone number.
Applicants should have their Rwandan National Identification document.
Follow these simple steps to help a user apply for this service;
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under “Health,” click on “Registration for survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi to obtain a PIN for Health Services”.
Click "Apply" to start an application.
Enter the applicant's details including their National Identification number. Their information will be displayed on the right side of the page.
Fill in the information about where the user survived the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Click "Next.”
Verify that all the information entered is correct, then check the confirmation box and click "Submit.”
Upon submission, the application will be processed by the Sector officer. The user will receive an email or SMS notifying them about any change in the status of their application. Upon approval, the Application is routed to the Social Affairs for approval.
You will receive another SMS and/or email to confirm the application status. Once the MINUBUMWE Officer receives and approves your application you will receive your PIN via email/SMS.
If the user doesn't receive an SMS/email notifying them of their application status within 5 working days after submission, Please advise them to contact or visit the sector office.
