This service enables citizens to relocate livestock between sectors and districts. Sector veterinary authorities approve relocations within sectors, district veterinary authorities oversee district-to-district moves within Rwanda.
The processing time is 3 days and the service is Free of charge.
Prerequisites:
Applicants should have a Rwandan ID, refugee ID, foreign ID, or passport.
Applicants should have a valid phone number, email address, or both.
Follow these simple steps to help a user apply for Livestock Relocation.
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under “Agriculture & Livestock”, click on Livestock Relocation.
Read the service description carefully and click on Apply.
Select the user’s Identification type and enter their corresponding ID number. Review the user’s information on the right section of the screen. Add their phone number as well.
Enter the Livestock details including Relocation purpose, Livestock type, and Relocation date.
Enter the Relocation details i.e. Origin location (where the livestock is currently located) and Destination Location (where the user wants to relocate the livestock to).
Finally, enter the Transport details by selecting the mode of transport to be used for the livestock relocation and enter the required information where necessary. Then click “Next”.
Verify that the user’s information is accurate, enter their phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click “Submit”.
Once the application is successfully submitted, an application number (B…….) will be provided for the user to track their application status. After the processing officer approves the application, the user will receive an approval notification and they can proceed to download their certificate on the IremboGov platform.
