This service aims to provide recommendation letters specifically tailored for local and international nongovernmental organizations operating within Rwanda and falling under the purview of the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI). This article outlines in detail how Agents can apply for the service on behalf of the user.
The processing time is 5 days, and the service is free of charge.

An applicant should have a national ID number or a valid passport.

Follow these simple steps to help a user apply for a recommendation letter to NGOs in the agriculture sector.
Visit the Irembo platform at www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the "Agriculture" category, click “Recommendation letter to NGOs in the agriculture sector.
Click “Apply” to start an application.
Fill in the "Applicant Details" and select the applicant's citizenship, contact details, and role.
Fill in the NGO’s details, such as the names, contact details, and location.
Select the recommendation letter and the date the MOU was signed.
Upload the required attachments, then click Next.
Verify that the user’s information is accurate, enter their phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click "Submit."
An application number (B2…… )will be provided to track the user’s application status.
Once the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI) receives and approves the user’s application, they will receive their recommendation letter via email.
