This service allows national sports federations to request a travel clearance for their athletes and associate delegates from MINISPORTS. The travel clearance facilitates international travel arrangements by verifying the athlete's eligibility to travel. This can also be used locally when the applicant needs official confirmation from local government institutions. This service is provided by the Ministry of Sports (MINSPORT).
The processing time is 5 days, and the service is free of charge.

Applicants should have a valid phone number.
Applicants should have their Application Number for their “Recommendation letter for a service passport”

Follow these simple steps to register for Travel Clearance Service.
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Click on the “Travel Clearance” service under the “Sports category.”
Click "Apply" to start an application.
Enter the applicant's details i.e. Identification Document Number. The information will be displayed on the right side of the page.
Add the user’s contact information including phone number and email address.
Enter the Application Number for the applicants’ “Recommendation letter for a service passport”.
Add Travel details i.e. Destination Country, Departure date, and Return Date.
Click "Next.”
Verify that the user’s information entered is accurate, then check the confirmation box and click "Submit.”
Once the application is successfully submitted and approved, the user will receive an application number (B2…), which they can use to download their certificate.
