This service allows sports federations to apply for an authorization certificate from the Ministry of Sports (MINISPORT), granting them permission to organize and host sports events, summits, seminars, workshops, or training sessions. This article acts as a brief guide for the agent looking to apply for the services on the users’ behalf.
Prerequisites
Applicants should have a valid Rwandan National ID number.
Applicants should have a valid phone number or email address.

Follow these simple steps to help a user apply for Authorization to host an international sports event.
Visit the Irembo platform at www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the “Sports” category, select “Authorization to Host a Sports Event”.
Click Apply.
Enter the Application details;
Applicant’s details (National ID number, phone number, and email)
Contact Person’s details (Name, phone number and role at federation)
Federation details (Federation name, phone number, and federation email)
Fill in the event details;
Event type
Event name
Event start and end date.
Also add event location by clicking the button.
Note:
If the event is supposed to take place in multiple locations, the applicant can add more than one location in the application form.
Upload the required documents in the right format. Click Next.
Verify that the user’s information is accurate then enter their phone number and email address and proceed to check the verification box and submit.
An application number (B2...) will be generated to follow up on the application status.
Note:
After the application has been successfully submitted and approved by MINISPORT, the applicant receives an SMS or email notifying them that the certificate is available and that they can download it from the IremboGov platform.
