This service facilitates associations and companies in registering and splitting condominium units within buildings or properties. It streamlines the process of converting buildings into condominium units, ensuring efficiency in registration and division. Upon completion, applicants have the convenience of downloading condominium unit titles. This service is provided by the National Land Authority (NLA).
The processing time is 8 working days, and the service is free of charge.
Prerequisites:
Applicants should have a Rwandan National ID number and passports for foreigners.
Rwandans and foreigners should have the land’s Unique Parcel Identifier (UPI)
Applicant should have both a valid phone number and email address
Follow these simple steps to help a user apply for the Registration of condominiums and split of condominiums:
Visit the Irembo platform at www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the Land category, click Registration of Condominium and Split of Condominium.
Click on Apply to start an application.
Fill in the applicant’s details (national ID number or passport), and the details will be retrieved and displayed on the right side of the page. Add the UPI and number of condominium units.
Select the user’s preferred land surveyor and click Next to proceed.
Verify that the user’s information is accurate, enter their phone number or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
An application number (B2…...) will be provided for the user to track their application status.
NOTE:
- Once the applicant has successfully submitted their application through IremboGov, they will receive a notification via SMS or email upon approval.
- When the new land document reflecting the updated land use is ready, the applicant will receive an SMS notification and can download their new e-land title(s) from the NLA portal.
