How an Agent can Apply for the issuance of a note-verbale to Rwandan officials traveling on official missions.
This service is specifically designed for holders of diplomatic and service passports. The Note-Verbales aims to facilitate obtaining a visa for these officials. This service is provided by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MINAFFET). Here is a brief overview of how an agent can assist a user in applying for the service.
The processing time is 1 day, and the service is free of charge.

Applicants should have a valid phone number or email address.

Follow these simple steps to help an applicant apply for this service.
Visit the Irembo platform at www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under Foreign Affairs and Consular Services, click on “Issuance of Note-Verbales to Rwandan officials traveling on official missions”
Click Apply to start an application.
Fill in the applicant’s information, “ applicant details,” This includes passport number, destination name, Departure date return date, etc.
Upload the requested supporting documents and click next.
Verify that the applicant’s information is true, enter their phone number and email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
An application number (B2...) to track their application status will be provided
Notes:
Upon submission, their application will be processed by the MINAFFET office. The applicants will receive an email or SMS notifying them of any changes in the status of their application.
Once the application is approved, the applicants are notified that their e-certificate is ready for download on the IremboGov platform.
