This service allows companies to deposit an amount that will be used to pay for any motor vehicle inspection-related service for the company cars. This service is provided by the Rwanda National Police (RNP).
The processing time is 1 day, and the deposit amount varies based on the company's chosen deposit amount.
NOTE: Only companies with more than 30 cars can make a single deposit application for motor vehicle inspection for all their company cars. The company receives a company code from the Traffic Police at the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center, which is used to make the deposit.
Prerequisites:
Applicants should first visit the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center to get the company code.
Applicants should have a valid phone number, email, or both.
Follow these simple steps to help a user apply for this service:
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log in to your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the Vehicle Technical Inspection & Emission Testing category, click on Motor Vehicle Inspection Deposit.
Click Apply.
Enter the company details, such as the company code and the amount to deposit.
Verify that the user’s information is accurate, enter their phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
A billing Number/ID (88…) will be generated for the user to make payment, Click Pay
