This service allows landowners to update the legal representative listed on their land title. This service is provided by the National Land Authority (NLA). The processing time is 13 days, and the service is free of charge.
Prerequisites:
The applicant needs a valid email address or phone number.
Both the old and new legal representative’s valid Identification document.

Follow these simple steps to learn how you can help a user change the legal representative on their land title.
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under "Land," click on Title Details Update.
Select “Change the legal representative” from the drop-down menu.
Click “Apply”.
Add the owner or current legal representative identification details, contact information, and the parcel UPI.
Enter the new legal representative’s details, including their identification information and residential address.
Upload the required attachments in their right proportions, then click "Next.”.
Verify that the provided information is accurate, enter the user’s phone number and email address, check the verification box, and click "Submit.”.
An application number will be generated (B2….) so the user can track the status of their application.
Note:
Once the National Land Authority receives and approves the user’s application, you will receive a notification to download your updated e-title.
