This article guides the agent on how to apply and pay for Facilitation of the issuance of diplomatic plate numbers on the user's behalf. This service facilitates agents on behalf of diplomatic foreign missions in obtaining diplomatic plate numbers. Foreign missions receive a recommendation letter to present to the RRA, categorizing them for issuing their plate numbers. This service is provided by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation(MINAFFET)
The processing time is 3 days, and the service is free of charge.
Prerequisites:
Applicants must have passport numbers and individual TINs.
A company should have a company TIN.

Follow these simple steps to help an applicant apply for this service.
Visit the Irembo platform at www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Foreign Affairs and Consular Services, click on “Facilitation for issuance of Diplomatic Plate Numbers.
Click Apply to start an application.
Fill in the applicant’s information, “ applicant details,” This includes applicant type, type of plate number, car brand and model, etc.
Upload the requested supporting documents and click next.
Note: The attachments depend on the applicant's (an individual or a company) type and the plate number type.
Verify that the applicant’s information is true, enter their phone number and email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
An application number (B2…...) to track the user’s application status will be provided.
Once the application is approved, the applicants are notified that their e-certificate is ready for download on the IremboGov platform.
