This service allows individuals, companies, and organizations to request and pay for a new national flag(s). This article provides agents with guidelines on how to assist users who want to apply and pay for a National Flag. This service is processed and provided by the Ministry of local government( MINALOC).
The processing time for this service is 1 day. The price depends on the type of request flag.
Prerequisites:
Rwandans must have a Rwandan national ID
Foreigners must have a valid passport
A company must have a company name and a company TIN
Applicants must have a valid phone number or email address.
Follow these simple steps to help an applicant with the Application and Payment for the National Flag.
Visit the Irembo platform at www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under Media and Society, click on “Application and Payment for National Flag".
Click Apply.
Fill in the applicant's details ( Rwandan with national ID, foreigner with passport, and company with company TIN).
Input the flag details(Select the flag type, the Reason for Request, and the district where the pickup place is located). The price will depend on the type of flag the applicant chooses. Then click Next.
Verify that the applicant’s information is accurate; enter their phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
An application number will be generated (B2……..) to follow up on the application status.
Once the application is approved, a billing number/ID (88…) will be generated for payment.

After submitting their application, they will receive a confirmation SMS and/or email. Once the processing office approves their application and confirms the availability of the requested flags, they will be notified to proceed with payment.
