The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) grants a visa extension for data collection if applied within two months of the original visa's expiration. The extension ensures that ongoing surveys comply with national standards and regulations.
The processing time is 14 Days and the service is Free of Charge.
Prerequisites:
Original survey visa application number.
Follow these simple steps to learn how to help a user apply for the service.
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the “Research And Statistics” category, click on Survey visa approval extension.
Click “Apply”.
Enter the original applicant’s survey visa application number, review the information below, and make sure it is accurate.
Enter the new start date and new end date. Add the expected report submission date.
Then click "Next.”.
Note:
The expected report submission date should be after the New end date.
Verify that the user’s provided information is accurate, enter their phone number and email address, check the verification box, and click “Submit”.
Upon submitting the user’s application, they will receive a confirmation SMS or email. After the processing officer approves their application, they will receive a notification that their application is approved and that they can download their certificate on IremboGov.
