This service allows Rwanda citizens who passed the provisional driving test to request their supplementary driving license. The service is provided by Rwanda National Police (RNP).
This service takes 14 days to process and costs Rwf 10,000.
Prerequisites:
Applicants should have passed the supplementary driving test and given a registration code.
Applicants should have a valid Definitive Driving License.
Applicants should have a valid phone number, email address, or both.
Follow these simple steps to help a user apply for the service:
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the Police category, click on Application for Driving License.
Select “Application for e-Provisional Driving License.” from the drop-down menu.
Click Apply.
Enter the user’s Registration Code, the collection district and the pickup station. The applicant information is displayed including their marks.
Click Next to proceed.
Verify that the user’s information is accurate, enter their phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
A billing Number/ID (88…) will be generated for the user to make their payment, Click Pay
Applicants can choose their preferred mode of payment: offline (MTN, Airtel, or BK) or online (Visa or MasterCard). For more information about payment modes, click here.
NOTE:
After applying and successfully paying via IremboGov, the Applicant will receive an acknowledgment SMS/Email and 14 days after submitting the application notifying them that the driving license is ready for pickup at the station of their choice.
