How can an Agent help a User Apply for an E-Provisional Driving License?

The e-provisional license is an e-document issued on IremboGov certifying that a citizen has passed their provisional driving test. This service allows Rwandan citizens of age or a foreigner with a resident ID who passed the provisional driving test to request, pay, and have their e-provisional license generated. The service is provided by the Rwanda National Police (RNP)

The provisional driving license is an online-generated certificate that can be downloaded as soon as the application has been paid for. The cost of this service is Rwf 10,000

NOTE: Applicants who applied and paid for their provisional driving license before the launch of the e-license but did not pick up the physical license should not apply for this service but rather use the application number of the paid application to download their e-provisional from the IremboGov platform.

Prerequisites:

  • Applicants should have passed the provisional driving test and have a registration code.

  • Applicants must be 16 years old or above.

  • The provisional license expires 1 year from the date it is downloaded.
