No, The marriage record is an E-certificate. You or the applicant can download it on IremboGov using the application or billing numbers. 

What is the processing time of a marriage record certificate?
The processing time is 1 working day.
What is the validity of the marriage record?
The marriage record has a lifetime validity until the applicant changes their civil status.
How does an applicant know the authenticity of the Marriage record generated via IremboGov? 

There are two ways: 

A.Scan the QR code on the certificate to verify the certificate 

B.Verify on IremboGov using the application or billing numbers by searching the application.

Can I download another marriage record if the one an applicant had is lost or damaged?
Yes, you can download the certificate as many times as you need.
Can I submit a marriage record application to any sector?
No, you can only apply to the sector where the marriage record is registered. This is done when applying for the first time after March 2022.
