This service enables applicants to book a time slot to get tested at Rwanda Biomedical Center's designated COVID-19 testing sites.
The service price depends on a number of things like currency, whether the applicant is a Rwandan national or foreigner among others.
Prerequisites:
Rwandan citizens above 16 years should have a Rwandan National ID number.
Rwandan citizens below 16 years should have a Citizen Application number. You can contact the sector office where the child is registered to provide the child application number.
Foreigners should have a passport number and mention their nationality.
Applicants should have a valid phone number, email address, or both.
Follow these simple steps to help a user book an appointment for their Covid-19 test:
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the Health category, click on Covid-19 Test.
Select the preferred currency (USD or RWF).
Choose who you are applying on behalf of: Applicant or Child and click Apply.
Applicants above 16 years should have a Rwandan National ID number or passport number.
Applicants (child) below 16 years should have a Citizen Application number.
Once you click on Apply,
For a Self application, enter your identification number (National Id for Rwandans and Passport number for Foreigners) and the details will be displayed on the right side of the page.
For a Child application, enter the child id and the child details will appear on the right side of the page.
Fill in the Test details (Test center, date, and time).
Click Next to proceed.
Verify that the user’s information is accurate, enter their phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
A billing Number/ID (88…) will be generated for the user to make their payment, Click Pay.
Applicants can choose their preferred mode of payment: offline (MTN, Airtel, or BK) or online (Visa or MasterCard). For more information about payment modes, click here.
NOTE: After applying and successfully paying via IremboGov, the Applicant will receive a confirmation notification and go for testing at the selected test center.
