This service allows Rwandan citizens to renew their provisional driving license. The service is provided by the Rwanda National Police (RNP).
The processing time of this service is 21 Days and the service price is Rwf 5,000.
Prerequisites:
Applicants must have a Rwandan national ID.
An applicant must have an expired provisional driving license for it to be renewed.
Follow these simple steps to help a user renew their provisional driving license:
Visit www.irembo.gov.rw and log into your agent account.
A small window will pop up. Fill in both your phone number and your password, then click login.
Click the "new application" icon to start a new application.
Under the Police category, click on Renew of Driving Licenses.
Select; “Renewal of Provisional Driving License” from the drop-down menu.
Click Apply.
Enter the Applicant Details (ID number) and Application Details (Provisional License Number and Expiry Date).
Click Next to proceed.
Verify that the user’s information is accurate, enter their phone number and/or email address, check the verification box, and click Submit.
A billing number/ID (88….) will be generated for the user to make payment, Click pay.
Applicants choose their preferred mode of payment: offline (MTN, Airtel, or BK) or online (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express). For more information about payment modes, click here.
NOTE: After applying and successfully paying via IremboGov, the Applicant receives an SMS/Email notifying them when to pick up the new driving license. After 21 days, your driving license will be ready.
