This guide is intended for agents who assist citizens in using IremboGov. It offers instructions on checking an application's status, including approval, rejection, request for action, or resubmission. Additionally, it provides guidance on verifying payment status, which may indicate payment expiration or pending payment.
Prerequisites:
Agents should be logged into their IremboGov accounts to check the citizen's application/payment status.
The agent must have the citizen's application number, national ID, or billing number for reference.
Internet access and a computer or smartphone should be available.
Follow these simple steps to check your application and payment status on the Irembo platform:
Visit the Irembo platform: www.irembo.gov.rw and log in to your agent account.
Note: When you click on "log in," you will agree to new terms of use, including the privacy policy of IremboGov.
Enter the application or billing number/National ID in the search space and click the button. Your application details will be displayed.
To check the status of your application, please navigate to the "Application Status" section. Under this section, you can find out whether your application has been submitted, rejected, or approved.
Submitted: This is when you have submitted your application, made the payment, and it is under review.
Note: This also represents a successful payment for an application.
Rejected: This is when the relevant institution has reviewed your application and decided not to approve it for some reason.
Approved: This is when the relevant institution has reviewed and approved your application.
Request for Action: This is when the reviewing institution needs additional information from you, like a document, to continue with the review process.
Pending: When an application is "pending," it means it's being reviewed and a decision hasn't been made yet. It could be awaiting assessment or additional processing steps before approval or rejection.
Resubmitted: If an application status changes to "resubmitted," it means that the applicant has made changes or provided additional information in response to a request from the reviewing institution. This indicates that the revised application has been resubmitted for further review.
You might also check different payment statuses, such as:
Payment pending: it means that it is not yet paid for.
Payment expired: it means that the billing number is expired, and you have to re-apply.
